Boston Day Three

Boston tea party museum & quincy market

We’d booked in to the Boston Tea Party Museum tour in the morning, so that was our first stop of the day. I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so dramatic, but the history was interesting and one of the boats was called ‘Eleanor’. The tour took about an hour, and then we tried all of the teas on offer in the tearoom before walking over to our next destination for lunch.

We walked to Quincy Market to check out the food stalls and were overwhelmed by choices! It was a hard decision, but we eventually went for clam chowder. My first experience was a success, I’d give it 7/10. I’m a huge fan of oyster crackers, but the texture of the clams just isn’t for me…

After that it was a wander round the public market, an art print of the Mike’s Pastry as a souvenir, and a doughnuts by the harbour on the way home!
